Flower
Flower, or bud, is the smokable, trichome-covered part of a female cannabis plant. Flower is the most popular form of cannabis due to its versatility since it can be consumed in a variety of ways, including smoked in a pipe or joint, vaporized in a vaporizer, or incorporated into edibles.
Pre-Rolls
A joint that has been prepared by a cannabis vendor, dispensary, or brand. Prerolls are consumer-ready and eliminate the hassle of grinding, rolling, and sealing cannabis flower into a joint. Prerolled joints are typically available in strain-specific flavors and vary in weight and potency.
Concentrates
Concentrates are substances in which the more desirable properties of cannabis, namely cannabinoids and terpenes, have been isolated. There are many cannabis concentrates in a variety of formats and textures. Non-active forms of concentrate need to be heated to experience their effects.
Edibles
Marijuana edibles can be brownies, cookies , pasta, and more. Any recipe that calls for butter or oil can be readily infused with cannabis. Edible cannabinoids are processed differently than inhaled cannabinoids. This process also lengthens the intoxicating effects, sometimes causing them to last from four to six hours.
Vaporizers
A cannabis vape pen is a handheld device consisting of a battery attached to a cartridge filled with cannabis concentrate. Vape pens vaporize rather than burn cannabis, resulting in vapor instead of smoke. Because of the lack of smoke and the handheld convenience of vape pens, some cannabis consumers prefer vaping over smoking.
Tinctures
A tincture is a solution of a medicinal substance in alcohol or water. Also known as golden or green dragon tincture, cannabis tinctures contain a range of cannabinoids. They are administered orally, sublingually, or mixed in foods or beverages and are, therefore, often packaged in small glass bottles with droppers as caps for convenient dosing.
